My son purchased the product for a road trip. The bag did not last more than a day. The whole front seam along the zipper tore open making the bag useless. Had to duct tape it for the remainder of the trip. Customer service was quick to respond and offered a replacement or refund, no questions asked. Seems like this may be a common occurrence. Suggest looking at the Roofbag. Heavy duty. I have used it many times and never an issue.
Receded o may 23rd took trip from Houston to Fla on June 7th first time use and befor we got to Fla the front had rips all in itMissed return date by 1 week now stuck with this that needs to be put in a dumpster hold all in it
I went with this because of the large capacity and price compared to a hard shell, but it came back to bite me. Didn't make the return leg on its first road trip. Had it loaded about 65% full and inside a roof basket. Held in place with included straps. During return trip the front seam popped open just from wind force. Of course it was raining, so it left a pool of water inside, soaking everything. Two of the six tie down loops wore through from abrasion. Maybe all these bags are this way, but I feel this one is particularly cheaply made.
Drove over 1600 miles with no issues at all nothing was wet. Fantastic product for the hundred bucks.
Took this on a road trip to Disneyland in my Honda Pilot. We had 7 passengers in car for a 6 hour drive and needed luggage space. This was the answer to my woes. All the straps provided made it easy to configure onto my car and did so in a solid way. I do not have a roof rack so we had to use the inside window feature. We loaded this thing pretty full and it handled its job like a pro. Had no flapping in the wind whatsoever. Just made it a simple and smooth ride. I am sure it affects the gas mileage a bit but that was the least of our issues. I love that it all folds and goes right back into the storage case though that was a bit of a challenge. Good alternative if you need more storage space.
This cargo bag has been a great choice so far. It can hold one large suitcase, two carry-on sizes, and a duffle bag.

It can fit a lot of camping gear. We can fit blankets, 2 queen airbeds and a 6 person tent. We are a family with 5. Let's see how long-lasting it is.
Excellent quality and great price for the price
This bag was very reliable. It was a great bag. First, it didn't move on my roof. There was no slipping or sliding. Second, it was quiet when I traveled over 500 miles. My last roof bag was very loud. Third, it rained hard from Pennsylvania up to Newport News Virginia but everything remained dry inside. The zipper covers are velcro-down and of good quality. This bag is highly recommended. The fit was perfect for my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
You kept all your luggage safe, even during a storm
This bag was used to move from Washington to Tennessee. There was a little water in the bag after a storm. The bag did shift slightly when items were placed in the back. It looked exactly the same as it did when it was first opened. No tips. No tears. 100% recommend this product.

I needed extra storage for family camping trips,but didn't want to buy an expensive hard shell roof storage. This product provided exactly what i needed for a fraction of the cost. The day we left for our first trip it of course rained so we got to test out how waterproof the product really was. The contents of the storage bag stayed completely dry the product claimed. The bag is also very well made with heavy-duty materials. I had to get creative with the straps since I don't have a roof rack, but it still no complaints.
It was a great product! It was simple to use and pack. We loved the Velcro to hide the zipper. It is difficult to zip the corners, so take your time.
We use this on our trip to east coast, it last the whole 15 hours drive with rains and wind. Sturdy and rainproof well. I would like it to be bigger though but for that price, I couldn't complaint too much.
Size is great for a family of 7. Unfortunately after just one 4 hour drive there were multiple rips in the fabric. Very disappointed.
This product is not water proof as I claims my clothes and sneaker boxes luggage all wet
this was a great top carrier. i recently moved from Georgia to Iowa. having to travel over 800 miles it was definitely important that it could withstand anything. installing was very easy it came with a lot of straps so you can secure it anyway you like. it even comes with hooks you can install on your doorframe if you don't have rails on top of you car. absolutely love this and will continue to use it.
This was a lifesaver! Going on a trip with 6 people plus luggage, we definitely needed a big unit to put luggage in. This is very spacious and held luggage securely on roof. We were able to put 6 suitcases plus a couple backpacks in it. Highly recommend.
Great product but I had to go buy a new lock. It worked until I changed the combination (I followed instructions) then I couldn't even reset it back to the default code. Seems others have had this similar issue. Can't complain since it was "free-
I was very disappointed in this product and would like my money back. It created a huge drag on the car and made my mileage per gallon go way down. It was voodoo cumbersome
Got this with the basket. It hooks on well to roof basket. This is the trick to making this bag work well. It can be strapped down well to the basket cutting down noise when driving.The bag is excellent quality. The stitching is well done. Material is heavy and waterproof. Haven't had any leaks yet.Ok storage capacity. Works best if not packed too fully. It will fit bedding very well. Advice is not to put in the heavy stuff. Clothes, bedding, or towels are your best bets.Great roof top bag and a great choice with good value. Definitely worth considering for roof top cargo basket.
This product is amazing! We moved from Arizona to Pennsylvania and were able to avoid getting a uhaul trailer because of this. We were able to fit both all of mine and my husbands clothes, shoes, bags, hangers and we also fit his grill in there as well!! It truly holds everything. Came with an under mat to avoid sliding. We had no issues with any leaks from any rain from the ratchet straps (we don't have a roof rack) and there were no rips or tears anywhere!! If you had any doubts, don't!
For the price, it was better quality than I expected. The material is extremely thick and holds up well.
