This cargo extension solves my problem. Sometimes, the trunk of my Ford Fusion is not large enough to hold all the luggage. It was designed for a 2" hitch. I used 1 1/2 to 2", adapters. I wish it had a 1 1/4" version. I should also mention that Mockins sent me the wrong set - the one that doesn't include a waterproof bag. This I discovered after I assembled the box. Mockins was quick to correct the problem and sent me the bag.

We travel and camp quite a bit. This set contains a great storage solution when we need extra room but don't need our whole trailer. We have used the cargo net when carrying bins and gear. We use the zippered box for bins and odd sized items. Both work great! Fantastic purchase!
I drive alot. Seen alot of these so over packed and hanging low or tilted side to side. This one is heavy. I would trust it to hold 500lbs. The bag is looking good. Fits two good sized totes. Ratchet straps look okay. Cargo net is nice and tight. Only thing that could be improved is where the halves of the basket meet after assembly. Salt is going to find it's way in and ruin this. At the very least supply plastic caps! Best case have them capped shut and welded.

This hitch was purchased to carry my generator and firewood on my truck camper. It's sturdy and well-built. It was easy to assemble. The basket is slightly angled so that it doesn't sag when loaded. This would decrease clearance. It is convenient to keep things dry with the zippered bag. This purchase was a great success.
Very easy to assemble and hook to my suv. Only used it for 2 coolers but had plenty of extra room for other things. The bag comes in very handy so things don't roll around a lot. The straps that cone with it are great. Gives it a little more stability for peace of mind when driving. Would highly recommend.
Took about 30-45 minutes to assemble with hand tools. Helpful to have your own set of wrenches. There were a couple of negative reviews on the sturdiness, but I attached it to the hitch and added 260lbs and there was not even a sway. Will be using on a 2,000 mile road trip. It is just what I expected. I used it in a trip from Seattle to Austin and back to Seattle. I witnessed a lot of rain and snow, and it was perfect in water proof side and it was so sturdy. I strongly recommend it
Good quality product especially the cargo bag looks durable. Product was handled rough by the shipping company to the point where there was a hole cut in the side of the box and the hardware bag was missing. Mockins was quick to get a replacement bag of hardware to me and even gave me a $10 value stabilizer bracket as an apology gift.

It actually matches our blue Odyssey really well. It hides dust and little scuffs better than black. Assembly was fairly easy, the rack felt well grounded on our hitch with the stabilizer, and it didn't rattle on the highway. The waterproof bag swallows a ton-we packed beach gear, a stroller, and a couple duffels and the zippers/straps kept everything dry through a rain burst. I love how easily it to fold up when it's empty, and the license plate bracket keeps things legal. Everything fit like it should and the weight rating is spot on after using it on another trip to transport blocks. Definite recommend from me!
This is very nice quality, very heavy duty and could hold a lot of weight. It's also not as expensive as other brands but the quality seems like its an expensive one since it's well-built. Easy to assemble and easy to put together
It made our family trip in a GX460 possible due to the lack of storage space in the SUV. The carrier is sturdy and easy to use. It is rather heavy, but a MUST if you have a family of 6.
I wish I would have waited 2 weeks the price dropped by $70 dollars. I would recommend ordering another cargo net as I needed 2 to cover entire full load.

This hitch carrier is strong and sturdy, but it's also heavy, so you may need a little help getting it in place. It is quite large and can hold so much stuff. I love the waterproof bag because it is huge, and it keeps everything dry and protected. That means a lot when you live in a place where it can rain at any time. It also comes with ratchet straps and a hitch lock. I like that it folds up when not in use, so you don't have to take it off and on all the time. It is good quality and should last a very long time.
Mocking has not let me down yet. This is my second cargo carrier. The carrier comes needing just a few minutes of assembly. The straps, case, lock, etc all seem good or decent quality. The ani-rattle connector works terrific as well and does help with noise.

Excellent product This cargo carrier was ordered for our trip from Denver to Tijuana. The cargo carrier was able to hold 2 large luggages, 3 medium-sized and 1 carry-on. All our luggage was dry despite the rain that fell on the return trip. It could have been a little better, the straps are a little too fragile. All in all, a great product.
The Positives: This product seems to be well-made. I recently purchased this for a 7 hour trip. I was able to fit a lot more than i expected in the cargo carrier. We also drove through some heavy rain and everything in the carrier remained bone dry. It is also convenient to be able to flip the hitch up when not in use.The Negative: When assembling the carrier 3 of the 4 bolt holes were machine correctly and the bolts went in easily. One of the holes was off and i had to hammer the bolt through. Also when folding the hitch up the holes do not match up perfectly so its a bit of a pain to get the locking pin in. If the product was machined a bit more precisely I would have given the product 5 stars.
