This was the longest roof rack I could find on Amazon. Perfect for my van. Very easy to assemble and install. I also mounted some extra lights on it. Really happy with the outcome.
Very average quality-¦ the clamps don't clamp very strong to my crossbars so if you have a lot in your rack it could slid around a bit on your roof. I wish there were more holding the different pieces together it's not that that's a big problem just would make it better but honestly for $250 for a 90-x50- roof rack is a steal. It looks good too but a couple complaints but can't beat the value
Preparing this Mockins car rack while I wait for the conversion kit for my vehicle. Sturdy and had all the parts and instructions for assembly and car mounting. I was impressed with the wind resistance front and the extra assembly to fit to my large SUV or my son's smaller hatchback. Recommend this purchase to others. It holds so much. I'm able to put a lot of equipment for my low key landscape business in here.
I struggled with the assembly of this cargo rack.The pieces that need to slide into each other don't align. I first tried to mate them alone and that was frustrating. I had a neighbor help and with two of us working the problem we were able to get the two center sections joined. The front and rear sections were too far out of alignment to be get them together. He is going to bring a conduit bender home from work so we can try to straighten out the misaligned pipes.With all the small pieces welded to the outer pipes that need to mate it's very difficult to align the misaligned sections.I do like the massive size which I probably won't need all the time. It would be nice to be able to assemble just the front and rear sections for more frequent use and then add the center sections if required for larger loads. If we are able to get the front and rear sections mated I doubt we'll ever get them apart so I have to decide if I should just go with the front and rear sections, permanently losing the center section.Another reason to remove the center section is the weight. This is a heavy duty rack but that comes with a heavy weight. The roof racks on my car have weight limits and I feel like I'll lose a lot of cargo capacity due to the weight of the unloaded cargo rack itself.
This rack came in 3 separate pieces and can be assembled a few different ways. For my application I took out the middle piece and connected both ends together in order to shorten the overall length. This configuration fit my Polaris Ranger roof perfectly. And now the middle section can be repurposed to become a basket for over the hood. (2 racks in 1!)Excellent value! it even came with 3 ratchet straps! -I didn't notice that in the original picture.Its not the most heavy duty rack out there, but for the price I can't complain. The paint seems durable, but I doubt the metal will last long once it starts chipping. (due to rust + thin metal) Keep that in mind, touch up the paint yearly and this should last a long time. Speaking of paint, the "Mockins" logo is painted on... thankfully this is going on a farm vehicle, I'd hate that logo on my truck. (minor nit though for such a great value)
A bit of nice weather today permitted me to get this installed and ready to load. It exceeds all my expectations. It is heavy duty, and gives me the confidence I need to load my adventure gear onto it. The only piece that arrived with an issue is one of the rubber covers, I circled it in a photo. I don't care but others might. Everything else is perfect, it all lines up straight and square onto my aftermarket crossbars.I've installed a few of these so I knew to open the rear cargo/hatch all the way up to make sure the roof rack isn't positioned too far back. The materials and finish quality all seem superb, and I don't anticipate a rust problem.I did manage to install this by myself without any issue. I simply lifted the 3 large pieces up onto the roof and assembled it up there.I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a full 90" setup, it's great!
This Mockins XXL Roof Rack Cargo Carrier was a great addition to my Honda pilot and exactly what I was looking for. It's a very large roof basket at 90- long and 50- wide. It takes up the whole roof of my 2005 Honda Pilot, which is what I wanted in a roof rack. Out of the box, I had a few ends of where the rack goes together having some bending at the connection points. The one was fairly severe, and required beating it with a rubber mallet to get it back in line. The smaller connection points pictured were also slightly off, but they went in without any mallet work. After that, assembly was a breeze. I recommend wearing some type of rubber or gripping glove when tightening down the screws to mount the rack onto your rails, because my hands alone even though strong, still had plenty to tighten down when I put on a rubber glove. After tightening down all 4 mounts, I was left with a super snug fit that didn't move or make any vibrations while driving. The road noise was also less than when I had the rails alone on the roof. The basket made no whistling noises while going 50. Super impressed with this rack and the black powder coat finish looked like it was well done and will last for a long time!
At 90 inches in length but the option to take the center section out and shorten it to 60" for alternative use, this is a good solid basic rack system that won't break the bank. Assembly is fairly simply as long as the tubes line up, perhaps requiring a little persuasion. You do need crossbars on your vehicle to attach this though I know of people that have done a custom job on RVs and offroad trailers. It can be moved by one and should be mounted up top with two people to avoid potential vehicle damage. Straps are provided. Measure your height with and without cargo...you may no longer fit in your garage.

Handled all the family luggage for a 14 hr road trip, leaving us all plenty of room in the car. Very strong, sturdy, and weatherproof.The included lock is a little cheap, but I have dozens of better ones so it wasn't a big deal.

We put this through its paces and it held up. Not sure how much weight we shoved on it but it was definitely loaded down then drove over 400mi on the highway and in the mountains. It worked great! Easy to hook up to add extra carry space.
