I've opened a ticket with support on the below issue and I'll update once resolved.I ordered this and received it from Amazon Friday and attempted to install it Saturday. I run into two apparent issues, the first stopped my ability to fix it myself.1. Part "C" Support Arm appears to have the wrong size hole that's intended to receive the 16mm x 75mm bolt (part "T") ... the hole is only big enough to support the 10mm bolt2. Part "T" is missing both washers.

This is a great value for the money, With all the additional options that came with it.Our trike fits like a glove, best storage capacity of any cargo carrier and easy to assemble.Whish I had found this one first.
I have a 2014 Buick enclave and it fits, however we are using this on our tractor!The build quality is great and the quality of the material it's made with is really good to me and my husband were impressed. It seems like it's rest resistant, but I haven't had it long enough to really tell you 100% if it's rest resistant. The fit is great. It fits my SUV and it fits our tractor. We're using it for our tractor. There wasn't any missing hardware and it aligned just right very strong and good quality steel construction very easy to assemble. The instructions were good.My husband's review: Very strong and good quality steel and construction. Very easy to assemble and comes with everything you need to haul this thing either folded down or up. Definitely exceeded my expectations!
I am so pleased with this basket cargo carrier and it exceeded my expectations. It is a great size and it folds up. You can put your license plate on the basket. Your license plate will always be visible. I am impressed by how strong and durable this carrier actually is, and it is high quality, for sure. This was a bit difficult for me to put together but I am not handy. It took me about an hour or so. The back lights are nice and bright and the wires to it need to be pulled through and then connected next to the hitch. The hitch is very strong and it went together perfectly. The basket stays level and can hold over 500 pounds. And there are three nice straps included. And also, it comes with a really great instruction manual. I honestly do really like it and it's perfect for camping and hauling smaller things like a grill and equipment. It measures at 72- x 36- x 6-. I think that is a nice size. I think this is great and I would highly recommend it for its alloy steel frame and hitch and I love that it folds up and has bright lights. I think also that it is made to last and I'm so happy it's weatherproofed.
Assembly instructions are a little weak but you can pretty much figure out what they were going for.Parts don't align great but can be forced into place to work. The use of slot head bolts in some places make it harder to properly tighten these bolts. Standard hex head nuts and bolts would have been a better choice.The lighting system is pretty bad. The lights need to be pressed into place using a lot of force to get the small bump in the rubber ring to lock into place. Doing so causes the LED light itself to push through the rubber outer ring. One side worked slightly better than the other side which never really seated properly. This results is the light falls out easily. Fortunately they include some electrical tape which was the only way I could manage to secure the lights so they would not fall out when driving. The lighting kit includes a 4 pin flat connector plus a 7 pin adapter so both vehicle connectors can be accommodated.The rack folds up when not in use which is a nice feature. Included is a bracket to tighten the draw bar to the vehicle if there is play. This isn't addressed in the instructions but if have ever used one before you'll recognize the extra parts for what they are.The rack includes a license plate bracket so you can move the license plate from the vehicle to the rack. This would be required in case your cargo blocks the rear license plate. The lighting kit does not include a license plate light so as a neighbor police officer pointed out it is non-compliant and something they could write a ticket for.The rack itself is just okay but the lighting kit needs some work.
I own an older Jeep Wrangler. If you do or have ever owned a Wrangler you'll know they didn't exactly go heavy on storage space. If I have my rear seat unfolded for passengers my "trunk space" is a wedge that barely holds a handful of grocery bags. I've wanted a hitch basket for years, and earlier this year I finally got one. It was great, but it was fixed (didn't fold up) and it sat so close to the Jeep that the spare tire hovered directly over the basket, blocking off a lot of functional space. I kept looking for alternatives, and when I saw this basket I had to try it.It arrived in pieces, but everything was in near-mint condition. All of the needed parts were included.Installation wasn't terrible, but I'll offer this piece of advice: locate the wire that's supposed to run through the center support beam and run the wire down the center before bolting the basket halves to it. That or have a coat hanger or other long piece of metal handy. I had to take bolts out of the basket so that the wire would pass through. It's not like there isn't space, but the wiring harness will rub and catch itself the whole way, and it's much more difficult with the bolts in place. Otherwise, just follow the instructions.Use isn't difficult. Thread the basket into the trailer hitch, put in the locking pin, attach the hitch stabilizer. If the basket blocks your license plate then move the license plate to the mount installed on the basket. To lock it up or down you pull the retaining pin, position the basket, then replace the retaining pin with its cotter pin.This is sooooo much better than my fixed hitch basket! The width is perfect for my Jeep; it barely overhangs the sides of the body but just less so than the tires themselves. The tongue is long enough that when I unfold the basket it fully clears my 33 x 12.5" wide spare tire. The bottom of the basket is a grating rather than just bars (like my fixed hitch basket), so it'll hold smaller things than one with bars without things fal.
Great product. We used in on a long distance trip and it was perfect. We hit a light rainstorm and everything stayed dry. Very easy to use.
We got this to use when we travel and used it this year on our way to the beach. The case it very durable and hold a lot of stuff along with keeping it dry. Nice thing is you can keep it attached and it folds up when not in use. You must take the bag off but still A1 product.

I purchased this Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier (HMCC) for my SUV. I needed the 3rd row as I have two grandchildren in car seats and with them, their parents, my wife and me, all seats had to be utilized. There is very little space behind the 3rd row seat and the tailgate door - certainly not enough to accommodate suitcases and a stroller. By getting this HMCC, I now have all the space I need inside the vehicle, while being able to accommodate all the gear we need. That HMCC was high quality, easy to put together, fits perfect in my 2" hitch and the waterproof bag and cargo straps keep my gear secure and dry/clean. When not in use, the HMCC folds up or is easy to remove. I installed a couple of hooks on the garage wall and simply hand the HMCC on the hooks....easy-peasy! I was actually surprised how maneuverable the HMCC is. It is easily handled by one person from assembly, to vehicle installation, removal and storage. I highly recommend this for those who don't have enough internal space in their vehicle.
This was the best alternative to pulling a whole trailer. The cargo basket is very well made...the kids tested it out for us. It was very easy to put together...took me about 15 mins taking my time and another 15 to put it on the car. The bag if very thick and seems of great quality. I had an issue with one of the bolts and customer service rectified the issue by sending another set of bolts asap (I called on Friday morning and received the bolts on Monday). Very happy with my purchase and with customer service.

I got this for my Jeep Tj. The XXL size is to big for the jeep (it sticks out like 3inches on both sides and sags the suspension unloaded). It does work fine, but it is so bulky and heavy that it becomes problematic to keep it on the jeep. This size is difficult/dangerous to install or uninstall with one person. If you plan to leave it permanently this will not be a problem. The smaller size would probably be perfect for the jeep.Installation was problematic and required a few tools like a file, wire strippers, multiple sized sockets and for some reason, a flat head screw driver?????? The crush washers were put in the wrong orientation. If you would install them the way they came they would come loose. The instructions basically leave you to figure it out yourself. The cuts were sloppy and were not cleaned up after. The file was required to grind down edges . When running the wire through the lower body, it kept getting caught on all the spots that had been drilled as material was still on the inside. One more hole should be drilled into the front as a path for the wire to travel through. If you use the path of the instructions, you will likely smash your wire at the pivot point.If you make it through the assembly, you will like it as long as your vehicle can handle the weight and size.
Honestly if It wasn't so much of a hassle to break down I wouldn't of probably returned it. The instructions are pretty terrible in some cases. It's doesn't seem to be truthful about the weight it supports after moving about a 100 pound load it seems now it's sitting lower now when there is no load on it. Now after doing a few trips it no longer sits straight and is always at a bend. When I moved my last load the tail light popped out. Since it doesn't have a way to hold it in place and solid. This thing is even worse than what I thought.
The carrier was easy to assemble. Our electric tricycle fits in it perfectly and the customer care team is excellent. Had just a little problem with the way the wiring to the taillights had to be ran but after contacting the support team and explaining to them the issue the problem was resolved that day. Not only is it a great carrier but the way the company's support team handles issues is fast and professional in my opinion that is a big plus and a bigger part of a great company. I am very happy with this product.
