This waterproof Cargo Hitch Bag includes 3 Buckle Straps, Bag Lock, Storage Bag. The dimensions are: 70" Long X 30" Wide X 33" High. It has a capacity of approximately 40 cubic feet and weighs approx. 13 pounds. The bag is weather proof, with water proof zippers. It is excellent for traveling, keeping gear on your hitch to free up internal space, without compromising quality and keeping your stuff dry. It is huge! And the included straps are great for keeping everything from flapping around. I do use additional ratchet straps to secure mine on the hitch cargo carrier bed as well. You simply lay out in the hitch cargo carrier, open it up, and fill with your gear. Easy to install and durable against the elements. Great for RVs too!
I have a cargo trailer hitch that I use to store all my supplies when I'm traveling to ensure my dog gets the entire back half of my car. I have a different brand of cargo bag that's worked great for my car and has stood up against wind and multiple storms, but on my last trip I found myself wishing it were taller to handle more vertically challenged items. Then, this Mockins bag was suggested to me.I looked up the measurements of my cargo trailer and saw that the mockins bag is ginormous (in every way - height, width, and length). But that extra volume is a game changer when transporting oddly shaped items.When I go on a trip, I normally install my cargo carrier first, and then lock it with a hitch lock. Then I put the bag inside the cargo carrier and open it up and put all of my items in the bag. Once filled, zip it up and secure it down to the sides of your cargo trailer. I normally use bungees in addition to the supplied straps. Likewise when I get to my destination, it's unstrap everything, then unzip the bag, and take items out individually. This method has reduced wear and tear on my cargo carrier bags.Quality:The zipper on the bag is heavy-duty and sewn well. In addition, there's velcro on the lid flap to keep the wind from blowing up the flap and allowing water to enter. But the zipper looks like it'll do a good job on its own of keeping the water out. The seams on the bottom of the bag are done well, in addition to the securing strap loops on the top of the bag. The vinyl used on this carrier is thick and water just rolls right off of it. (It also smells like a brand-new kiddy swimming pool when you first open it up).Con:I only have 1 con about this bag, but it's not a big enough con to deduct any stars. The con is: once you open up the bag, unfold it, set it up, and load it up - you'll never be able to get it back into the cute carry case it comes with.
It's almost a foot longer than my cargo carrier so I'm not really sure why it's advertised as a cargo carrier storage solution.It does come with all the necessary straps and even a lock, but this seems more suited for the back of a pickup truck. The material feels strong and definitely waterproof. Perhaps if it had an adjustable zipper to shorten the whole thing if needed it wohld be more versatile.
I got this to storage patio cushions in my garage. Great for that. Very large.

I travel to our ski home often in the rain.I usually bag up our stuff in plastic garbage bags to keep the rain and road grime off our stuff. This is a huge waterproof duffel bag and will make it so I don't have to bag and unbag our luggage which took a lot of time!
I purchased this cargo box with the intention of using it in my trailer hitch luggage rack, I should have measured first. This box is about 2' too long and 1' too wide for my carrier. But, it does fit inside my open bed ATV/utility trailer. The material this box is made of is a thicker version of my dry-bags, it is water and, mostly, air tight. It. The zippers are designed to be water tight, but for extra security there is a flap that folds over the zipper and is held in place with hook and loop closures. The included lock could be cut with a pair of diagonal cutters, so it is just an appearance of a deterrent. There is no internal frame to the box, and is capable of holding six - 27 gallon - totes (see picture) with room to spare, but doesn't hold its shape without help.Since it is too large for my trailer hitch cargo rack, I haven't had the opportunity to test it on a trip yet. However, after setting it up, loading it (with empty totes), moving it around, and folding it back up, I noticed the outer material was really easy to scratch up. I would be careful to load the box in place and not move it while packed. We did spray the bag with a hose to test water resistance, and it passed with no leaks. I am excited to use this bag in a pickup bed or a trailer, but I think it is too big for a standard sized hitch basket.
This is a great bag, fits a lot of things and seems super durable for the most part. However, after 1 road trip, about 700 miles, I went to set up camp and noticed that the bag had ripped at the seam. All I had placed in here was a folding mattress and a couple camping chairs. Nothing that should put too much stress on the bag at all. Quite unfortunate since the whole reason I purchased this was to prevent things from getting wet. I like the bag but didn't hold up to a simple challenge.

It was used to transport spring break luggage. Our cargo was completely dry despite it raining the entire day. It was held securely by the built-in straps. On the way down, I added two bungie straps because I didn't fill it enough and was concerned it might "flap". But, because the bag worked well, we were able to move more stuff to the carrier and there wasn't much material left. The bag was large enough to fit two large rolling suitcases from end to end.
Great for traveling and completely waterproof. Went through several storms during my travel and protected luggage from the rain.
Very heavy duty cover for cargo carrier. Fits as advertised. Good zipper and velcro closing top . This is a complete cover that has a bottom too. Never tried it but I don't see anywhere possible water could enter it.

Have used in rain and snow. Stayed dry every time. I did build a pvc frame for it. Without the frame it would be hard to use.

So I wanted to a cargo hitch carrier bag to use for our trip to Orlando to Universal and Disney which is approx 6 hours away from us. I refused to use the eggshell roof cargo carrier as I drive a Nissan Armada and accessing that compartment on the roof and putting luggage in it is a hassle I did not want to deal with. So I did some research and because I already had a cargo carrier I looked for a bag and went with this one because of the price point. And man I did not regret this decision! We literally just came back from our trip and low and behold it rained very, very hard on our drive back for almost 4 hours of the trip and yep everything inside was dry! No water or moisture inside! This carrier hitch bag is made out of vinyl/rubber so it does smell like you would expect vinyl/rubber to smell like. Think rain coat material expect very think and more durable. It zips up all the way around tight and then is reinforced with velcro along the top for an extra layer to seal it so no water or dust gets in.Now I will tell you this bag and even the others like it that cost more are just that, bags. The pictures a deceiving as when you receive it it's not square like it is in the picture it's literally just a bag that you can put your stuff in which in itself is not bad and would still work. But a quick YouTube search and found a video on how to build a frame for this bag and others like it out of PVC piping which took less than an house to build. No More than $25 was spent on the PVC pipe at Lowe's to construct the frame which fit perfectly! I have attached a picture that shows it with the PVC pipe in it and now it looks just like the one advertised in the pictures and maximizes so much more space. I fit 2 large suit cases in it along with some other belongings. I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone looking to purchase one!

Purchased this for driving from Ga to PA. I'm so glad we had it as it rained the whole way there. Some points it was raining so hard we could hardly see. Everything in side was BONE dry! The only thing I don't like about it is trying to get the top open without it velcroing shut again. My husband is going to build a little PVC rack so that it stands the bag up and makes it easier to work with. It this is a god purchase if you need something waterproof!
