Great storage bag. It's huge! Not sure how this would ever fit on a hitch, but can see it used for the back of a truck bed. The material is durable and thick, and the zippers are high quality. The challenges stem from the soft sided nature of the bag, it's not easy to get into and out of.
This Mockins 40"x40"x6" Square Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch Cargo Carrier w/Plate Bracket is a game changer. This cargo carrier has provided multiple functional uses for me . When not in use I'm able to fold it up and out of the way so that it does not protrude from my vehicle when not in use. Being able to carry a payload up to 500lbs will allow me to free up room inside my vehicle. Because I'm now able to utilize the provided ratchet straps to tie my cargo down. The cargo carrier is very easy to use. it has some girth to it making it a solid carrier. The rattle clamp allows the cargo carrier to remain in place with little to no movement when hitched to the rear of my vehicle. I'm going to look into a cargo bag as seen with this particular carrier. But with recent rain storms it seem to repel water with its water proof ability. This Mockins 40"x40"x6" Square Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch Cargo Carrier w/Plate Bracket is an awesome value and offered at a good price for such a sturdy cargo carrier. I love the size and the amount of room it now allows me in the cargo area of my vehicle. I certainly 5-STAR approve the carrier. I even added a strip light that plugs into my trailer electrical plug to make the carrier highly visible to be seen at night. The Pin Lock that comes with the carrier helps to protect your carrier from theft. Certainly an exceptional find you want be disappointed when you want a solid carrier.
This cargo bag is very high-quality and well-made. It is made out of a very thick and durable waterproof material. The zipper is reinforced and, along with the thick Velcro, it seals tightly to keep water out. The 30 cu ft size is absolutely huge. It's really bigger than the stock pictures make it look. I took it on a recent 7-day trip to the beach and was able to fit nearly everything needed for a family of 3, including food in it. It is basically a square-shaped bag, so it doesn't hold its form without items in it, but the shape allows you to fit a large number of items in various shapes and sizes. It fits easily inside a 5.5 ft bed on a full-size truck with room around it to fit items that may not need to be kept dry. However, if you are using it in a car or SUV, you would likely not be able to fill it up. It rained on the trip home, and my items stayed totally dry.It comes with a nice lock and high-quality straps for use if they are needed for your application.The storage bag is quite small, and I was skeptical about being able to get the cargo bag back in it. However, it does fit if you fold it properly. This makes storage on a shelf in the garage really easy.Overall, this is a really high-quality, usable product. If you need a large, waterproof cargo bag for your next trip, do not hesitate to get this one.
I already have a camper top on my truck, but I do often haul a utility trailer to carry bikes, motorcycles, and other camping gear. I have covered stuff up with tarps so much that I am an expert! This bag makes that pretty easy if you have some stuff that you want to stach in a weather proof container that has enough space to load a bunch of stuff into. It's pretty well made, kind of like a thick PVC type material, and the zippers are decent, too. It gives you quite a bit of room, and there are tie down straps.The only thing I didn't like was that even just inspecting it for the first time, it was hard to fold back up and fit into the carry bag. I don't want to have to stuggle with that - just make the cover bag big enough to accomodate it after it has been unpacked from "factory folding". It also doesn't really have any form to it when you open it up. So you kind of have to hold it open while loading it. Not too big of a deal but something to be aware of.
This is a nicely designed rack with lots of storage. It is built to last and works great. There is plenty of places to apply tie downs and well worth the cost if you do a lot off traveling.
This cargo bag is a beast! If you think you can get it and use it in the back of your van or hatchback, make sure you have a lot of room because this bag is massive! It takes more than a quarter of my Tacoma's full size bed. I tried to get pictures, but until I have something to fill the bag it just kinda collapses onto itself, so I did the best I could. The material is very thick and wind/weatherproof. Your items will be completely safe in it. The zipper is thick and strong, and it's covered by a strong hook-and-latch flap that won't easily come up. I would guess this bag would fit a whole set of luggage for a small family. We drive up to relatives' houses every year for Christmas, and this is the bag we're going to use on our way back to keep all the presents. Included is a pair of thick straps to tie it down to your truck, a small padlock that you can set a passcode for, and a storage case. If you're going to get just one container for your truck bed, this should be it.

This storage rack is very well built, with strong components easily able to hold what you put on it.Assembly wasn't difficult at all, though it was a little time consuming. All parts were included with the exception of a washer on the pivot bolt which was missing. I fortunately have a lot of spare washers to the point of absurdity, so I had one to use - but otherwise I would have had to make a trip to home depot or call the company and wait for them to send one out. There were no torque specs, but they are graded bolts so you aren't going to break them unless you are king kong.Folding the shelf up is easy enough, and doable by probably everyone. Installing the shelf into the hitch was not easy for me, as the shelf is surprisingly heavy - I would guess about 70-80 pounds. For as large and as awkward as the thing is, you are going to need help or be strong.Other than the weight and shape making installation difficult, everything else is easy enough. The mesh floor of the shelf even allows you to retain reasonable use of the rear view backup camera without issue.Well built shelf that should last a lifetime.
It's big and it's heavy and somewhat awkward. Other than that, this is a nice rack for the hitch mount crowd. At 40 inches square it's likely to not block the tailights of the attached car and with the addition of some conspicuity tape it should be noticeable. The folding hitch is always welcome and two sets of hands will make installing and removing the rack a lot easier. It's all steel so a set of magnetic trailer lights would adhere to the unit if you've gone to the trouble of moving your license plate as well. A full size washer or dryer will easily fit and the size and 500 pound capacity (check your tongue weight limit) should allow for lots of interesting stuff being carried home.
Ordered this Square Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch Cargo Carrier - 40"x40"x6" Square Design - W/Folding Luggage Rack for SUV, Truck, Car, or RV for my use on my truck, car, and RV. Have always mostly used my truck to haul most items we need to haul, move, or transport locally or long distance, like vacations, or just camping. The downside loading most any larger items in my truck, is that the bed is so deep and high off the ground, now at my senior age, it's just plain "tough & a pain" to try to load most anything and also unload out of the bed of my Ford truck. Recently while shopping online for some camping gear for our upcoming vacation "getaway", I saw this large square carrier that is40"x40" and that it has 6" deep railings around it to keep most any load in place and/or from shifting when hauling most anything. After reading about it and that it's made of alloy steel and all steel frame and the main frame hitch is 2" and fits my truck, RV, and SUV receiver hitch, I ordered it. Wished I would of had this nice HD carrier years ago.This carrier is a "beast"!. It's a heavier duty design and built to last. It weighs approx 70+ Lbs and very well built.I like that all the joints have good solid welds. Even the HD mesh steel floor is welded to the the cross member steel braces. It has a strong 500 Lb rating and have no doubt it will easily haul that much weight or even more if needed.The main hitch frame is very thick steel material and this whole unit has a nice thick black painted rust resistant finish.It came with all needed accessories to use today. It came with a nice locking solid chrome steel pin to lock it safely on my vehicles which makes it theft proof. It also came with ratchet straps that are 10+ft long and rubber coated hooks.It also has a license plate bracket to easily attach any license plate for visibility. The frame has nighttime reflective tape and easily glows at night when lights shines on it for safety. My favorite part is that it easily folds up stra.

Our waterproof cargo carrier bag from Mockins was absolutely a life saver. We were getting married in the mountains and had a lot of gear for the weekend. The waterproof bag was perfect as we were able to put our clothes in the bag on the hitch rack as some of the more fragile cargo (alcohol!) was able to be stored in the back of our SUV. I purchased this bag for my 8hr trip from NJ to NC Outer Banks. It was pouring rain the entire trip from NJ to the Outer Banks and rained most of the way back. All of the contents of the bag stayed absolutely dry. The tie down straps were sturdy and the additional bungee cofd net held everything tight. The bag is well made and has plenty of room for storage. I would definitely recommend this bag for a cargo hitch carrier.
