Our trailer hitch carrier is not compatible with low-riding vehicles such as minivans and compact cars. These vehicles may have insufficient ground clearance when going uphill and may require a hitch riser. In the case of Jeeps with rear spare tires, the carrier may not fold properly, and an extender may be necessary.Additionally, the hitch class is important for determining what can be transported. It's crucial to check the Tongue Weight Capacity of the hitch; anything below a class III hitch may not be able to support 500 lbs.

Can this fold up when not in use?
